While we’ve been busy serving our clientele and slowly getting into the grove of things, Jimmy Côté at Highway Eleven has been busy working on developing a sort of brand for us. To be honest, when he first approached me with the idea, I hadn’t really given it much thought. And to be even more honest, I have no clue where to even start to develop a logo, much less a website. Enter Jimmy.  He worked tirelessly (at least I think he did) to create a logo, a website, business cards, a menu, and everything else for our little business. I wish I had more free time to learn and do this stuff but someone’s gotta make the coffee here.  He told me that he would ensure everything was representative of our personal taste and style and he really delivered. When I first saw the logo I just about broke into song because it somehow was what I’d pictured in my mind. Simple, concise and pretty.  We’re still working with Jimmy to develop the website, which includes a photo shoot of the restaurant and yours truly. I’m excited about that because I think it’s important, especially in a small town, to know who’s behind the business and who you’re supporting when you spend your hard earned money there. I personally believe in shopping small because you’re actually helping a person put food on their table and pay their bills. That being said, to do that, you need to see the face behind the name.  So this is our new logo, and the next steps will be to have it made into a sign for the building. I’ll keep you posted on the development of the website and everything else. Thanks always for your support! X
